How to make DIY cork mountain coasters

A simple little cork mountain coaster tutorial:

Materials:

- 3mm cork
- paint brush
- white acrylic paint
- X-Acto knife
- metal safety rule

Instructions:

1. Using the safety rule and X-Acto knife, cut the cork into a triangle shape.

2. Paint outline of the snowy mountain peak

3. Fill in the snowy top and add dots for falling snow or a smiley face!

This Christmas I wrote a tutorial for Etsy & Whole Foods Market to make a Geometric Tree Advent Calendar. I wanted to make something that each crafter could customise - each tree can be filled with yours or your loved ones favourite treats and trinkets for an exciting lead up to Christmas day.

I am very excited to let you all know that a couple of months ago I was asked to write a crafty tutorial for the new Mollie Makes Home bookazine. Caroline Rowland from 91 magazine was the guest editor and did an amazing job of rounding up some amazing designer makers to show us their beautiful homes and inspirational tutorials. It was a fun project to work on and I am happy to have been featured in one of my favourite magazines.  This is one of the first tutorials I have written and am inspired to write some more, so stay tuned!
